Jessica & William l Glen Allen, Va Portrait Photographer

Jessica and Willy were the winner of my couples session give-a-way. They worked quite hard for all their votes, and it definitely paid off. I wanted this session to portray more of my style with couples, which if you have followed my work it has come to be quite grounded around a romance feel. I personally love being in the presence of all love. There is nothing better in the world, and when I am editing images that portray just that I find myself in an awe, smiling, and sometimes in happy tears. Jessica and Willy have been in love for years, its just strayed apart for a few years, but they both knew deep inside where their hearts were. I hope y’all love these images as much as I do, and you see how happy they are to be together and living what is true to their hearts. I’m sure their August wedding will be full of happiness. πŸ™‚

Jessica and Willy were such troopers, they got up at the crack of dawn to start their session at 7:30 on a Sunday. Not many people are willing to take pictures at this time, and this was a first time for me, and I must say I am in LOVE with the lighting. They also were so patient in waiting for this field to be in full bloom, thank you guys so much. Our session included lots of gnats, wet grass, and standing in muddy areas, good thing we are raised in the country and don’t mind being bare foot. πŸ™‚

OH SO LOVE this one too!

Behind the scenes of Crystal Reyns Photography l Central Va Wedding and Portrait Photographer

I have never done a behind the scenes blog before. As I am entering my forth year of photography, I find it is very important to learn your photographer and who you may be working with. I have had Katelyn on my team for a little over a year, we are a lot alike and there really is never a dull moment. We like to have fun, laugh, give each other stupid looks, dance like fools, and Katelyn is an ‘amazing’ singer…….JUST KIDDING.

2013 I am dedicating to offer more and better for my clients. πŸ™‚ This is not just for weddings, but also for certain types of sessions like seniors and boudoirs/ pin-ups. πŸ™‚

A few weekends ago I got to work with the lovely Victoria, that I still want to call Veronica….HORRIBLE right?!?! I don’t know why, and I actually really good with names. πŸ˜› But she was game to help me promote my new SENIOR EXPERIENCE!!!

Victoria fit right in with myself and Katelyn, a little ball of fun that took great direction, and let me tell you she was quite the trooper for the day as it was cold and windy.

Myself and Katelyn always try to take good pictures, but they always end up like the one to your right…hehehe πŸ™‚

I first met Jackie and Cody to go over a wedding contract in the Spring of 2011. Jackie’s bridals were at Maymont shortly before their wedding on 7.23.11, to this day her bridals are still my most popular portraits. πŸ™‚ I can’t blame my clients for loving them, she is gorgeous, and she was open to everything I had envisioned for her images. πŸ™‚ Jackie and Cody’s wedding was hot as all get out, and we all sweated our way through their pictures. Then we had Fall pictures last year where Jackie spoke of wanting another baby, and here we are this year with a beautiful baby girl. And yes she has those Coleman lips, and sass already, I LOVE IT!!!
